Hi! My name is Kaitlin MacLean and I am a Registered Social Worker.

I recognize that sometimes, past experiences can leave us feeling stuck and unable to find enjoyment in life. Reaching out for support is not always easy and can leave us feeling vulnerable. It is my goal to work alongside you to build your self-esteem, self-compassion, process grief and loss, work through the negative effects of past trauma, or address whatever other therapeutic goals you may have while we work together.

My areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, addictions, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, trauma, and grief and loss. I use evidence-based practices while honouring a client-centred approach when working alongside clients on their journey to wellness. In our therapy together, I work primarily from "Parts" language, EMDR, and other Somatic Based techniques. I also incorporate CBT and CPT when it makes sense. Therapy is not one-size fits all and I work with clients and their strengths to establish personal goals in a safe, confidential, non-judgmental, and caring environment. I work with individuals 16+ to assist them in gaining the knowledge and skills to work through negative thoughts and emotions and instigate positive change in their lives that can be noticed both mentally and physically.

I would be happy to connect with you for a FREE TELEPHONE CONSULTATION to see if we would be a good fit!

*I provide therapy services to Ontario residents only*
